Take this from a man who's played the games and has two brothers who own a copy of EVERY main series Pokemon game and has played hundreds of hours on each... Diamond's good, but Platinum is so much better. You gotta get it.
Yeah, I bought Pearl, but I still need to buy Platinum.
I also bought all of the GameBoy Advance games on eBay after I played Diamond, but I never got around to playing them.
