Unofficial Anchorman 2 Hype Thread

So I'll just kick off my little countdown to the true Reason for the Season: Anchorman 2! It's less than 3 weeks away, and I have to say the marketing team for this film has done a hell of a job so far. I had my initial doubts about doing a sequel in the first place, given that Anchorman 1 was riiight up on that borderline of being in that Napoleon Dynamite/Austin Powers area of oversaturation. However, they've taken great lengths to make some interesting ways of hyping the film. If you missed any of the Burgundy Dodge commercials, they are pretty classic. I enjoyed it a lot. It was a lot different from the first movie (I'm still trying to pin down exactly how, but it felt a lot different), but I found myself laughing almost as hard. I won't be quoting it as much, but that's just because it wasn't that type of humor.

That being said, I think Brick's performance in this one blew his performance in the first out of the water, and Kristen Wiig was just perfect 🤣
