It seems that the Naples machine met some difficulties after the site break...

I like this album. I just think it's no Are You Exprienced. I mean not at all.

I rate it as his best record largely because of the last 3 songs. There are a few dips in quality on the rest of the album but nothing that I dislike or want to skip past. I can see why some people prefer Are You Experienced? though. Both are great records.

Great album. 2nd best Hendrix, and in my top 20 for overall chart.

It's a great record but I marginally prefer Are You Experienced in that it is imbued with slightly more variety of shades of colour and texture which, in my opinion, allows the music to breathe more.

Intensity that never ends. This is my favorite by Hendrix.

As with most Hendrix, I don't really like it too much. I wouldn't object if anyone would play it (though noone I know ever does that).

Never been the biggest Hendrix fan, but this a great album and consistent throughout compared to his other works. Comfortably sitting in my top 100 as of now.
Best songs: Crosstown Traffic, Voodoo Child (Slight Return)

AYE is great and deserving of all the acclaim it gets, and so is this (Axis is good too but those 2 are better). This is Experience's most psychedelic album certainly though it's tied with the debut in terms of quality. Slight Return might be my fave track by them overall.
