Actually what if people have access to other publications or lists (Rolling Stone, NME, Pitchfork, Scaruffi) before they come here and are influenced by them instead of trying to ignore all that fuss and try to listen and explore in every direction? That's what happens mostly. I write IMO with lemon juice at the end of every post.

I both agree and disagree (I do that a lot). I do think people should be honest with their charts and post their favorite albums, even if it doesn't look cool. Realistically, though, I think someone who has thoroughly explored the musical space is unlikely to come up with a list of only albums that are already on the site's top 100. My list is still pretty generic, but that's part of why I'm here. I want to make my list more interesting without having to dishonestly trumpet some obscure piece of hackwork.
