First listen. Wow I really listen to a lot of new albums lately. Anyway, I think I love it. I was expecting some avant-garde inaccessible thing, and it's actually very atmospheric guitar-driven poppy post-rock. That means it's great.
Not exactly my first listened. I had listened to it a few times about a year ago, when I was in my hard-rock period. It's OK, but not very good IMO. I'd rather have Rainbow's debut nominated in the tournament, but oh well. I just noticed it was against Faust 🤣
I've avoided this for a long time, because, based on the "hits," I assumed their sound would be repetitive and redundant and it never interested me. But I'm actually enjoying it more than I thought I would. It's a little bit more varied than I expected.
