I'd be happy to see Crimson win the whole thing. _________________

Not only is In the Court of the Crimson King not only King Crimson's best album, it is also possibly the greatest prog rock album ever as well as a definite contender for the greatest debut. It is stunning in all respects, and the first side is my favourite side of any album ever. It's a masterpiece of rock, was completely ahead of its time and it's unbelievable to think that such a strong album is a debut.
Just for a Day is great, but Slowdive would move onto better things. To be honest though, there's not even close to a competition. For me, there is only one finer debut album than ItCofCK, and that's already been knocked out, so I'll back this to the end. However, it's honestly a shame, seeing a couple of the other pairings, that Just for a Day may get knocked out, whilst two of those four remain.

I dunno. I've been listening to a ton of Crimson lately. I'd say Lizard and Red may both be better, but In The Court of the Crimson King is undeniably brilliant.
I've also not one of those who thinks Souvlaki is light years better than Just For A Day. Just For A Day is one of the best shoegaze albums I've ever heard. I'd be totally happy with either winning, but voting Just For A Day since it's a bit more underrated on BEA and triggers more emotions out of me

Voted for Just For A Day, which is my third favorite Slowdive album after Blue Day and Souvlaki. Really brilliant band, and I think it needs the love. Not to discount ItCotCK though, I just don't have as much of a connection with it.

Slowdive doesn't get to stay in just one more day.
