I've heard Citrus, A Place to Bury Strangers and The Battle of Sealand, but they are all good suggestions, and will all be on the chart. I haven't heard Death to God, and I'll check it out, so thanks!

A really good friend of mine is doing this blog. He has 2 entries so far. He is a pretty experienced producer and has worked in the area of producing and mixing a lot. And the idea of the blog is he takes up different songs and maybe albums eventually and analyses them on a pretty straight production/technical basis. I think they're really cool so far! He definitely makes the recording and production side of things more interesting to me and points out some interesting things that are going on that I never noticed before.

Also: the BEA interviews! I have unfinished business there and I am really eager to get it started again. We have many new users who may want to try it.

So I've been shown a number of posters and tickets from our university's live music society dating around the late 1970's and early 1980's, bands that played in or around campus at the time, all of which for about £5 included; U2 (Numerous times...), The Fall, The Congos, Stiff Little Fingers, XTC, The Undertones, The Specials and a whole load more, including a £2.50 concert by The Cure in 1981, man how the times have changed... _________________

I'm taking suggestions. Trying to keep the compilation to under 80 minutes so it'll fit on a CD, but might stretch to two discs if I think of enough songs. There are also a few songs already here that I could happily replace were I to find something better. So yeah, holla at me with songs about dreams.
