This is prog folk, and it's one of my favourites

Living In The Past by Jethro Tull

This is post rock or something like that, may seem boring at the first listen. Or whenever. But it's interesting.

The Fall Of Math by 65daysofstatic

They both have cool covers, I think.. Just the first ones that came to my mind. ๐Ÿ˜„

I think you'd really like this

Bee Thousand by Guided By Voices

Need/would like some recs of albums along this lines. I'm really loving this album. I love the rough yet beautifully written songs. I love the mile a minute pace of the album just switching from idea to idea ... Anyway, stuff like this, like really great and IT CAN BE SUPER OBVIOUS and it can be just that the album has a similar vibe but isn't the same genre necessarily Classics are okay (example: if you wanted to rec me Slanted and Enchanted that is totally fine.) Okay... Shoot!

Well if you haven't checked out Alien Lanes or Under The Bushes, Under the Stars, listen to those

As for some others I would say in the same boat(But there is truly no one quite like Guided By Voices)
Minutemen - Double Nickels On The Dime
Husker Du - Zen Arcade
The Fall - This Nations Saving Grace

That's perfect! I have heard Double Nickels... and I love it. I agree it certainly has that same all over the place kinetic creative vibe. Husker Du and Zen Arcade I'm not a huge fan of. It's due for a revisit.

That The Fall album is the only one of these I've as of yet
Managed to not hear! Thanks for that rec. I will get on it!

If you enjoy it, proceed to listen to Hex Enduction Hour, Live At The Witch Trials, and the many other impressive albums in their discography.
