How is it similar/different to The Ascension (assuming you've heard that too)?
Well, I haven't heard The Ascension in full, but from what I have heard of it I'd say this album Symphony No. 6 is a lot more abrasive and dischordant and much LARGER. There are much more guitars on this one - about 10 - versus "just" 4 on on The Ascension. Also, it's a lot less indebted to Rock music and more to more arranged, classical stuff. It's amazing. And dark. _________________ -Ryan
Dreamy sweetness for my ears! Perfect dream pop. Probably won't blow you away with its originality but pssh who needs originality when the music is so good. It really is pretty amazing. Trust me, I'm a cat.
Wait I want to listen to something new...I've got some recs lying around here somewhere...ah!

Cool. ๐ Oh wait wtf what's with the Sufjan Stevens-lite voice? Well that's fine...I think. Kind of bugging me, actually. Sometimes I like it sometimes I don't. XD This almost reminds me of...Fall out Boy! I don't know how. XD Kind of has those sort of catchy little pop rock hooks buried underneath all the bubbly tinkly electro-boops and banjos. Electro-Boops and Banjos is a Miaow trademark, so don't even think about it.
It's okay so far, I suppose.
