This Is A Long Drive For Someone With Nothing To Think About by Modest Mouse

Cheekiness aside, the only thing I can think of outside of that is like:

Get Here And Stay by 764-Hero

Sharpen Your Teeth by Ugly Casanova

God Don't Make No Junk by The Halo Benders

Something Vicious For Tomorrow / Time Whore by Treepeople

Perfect Teeth by Unrest

Copacetic by Velocity Girl

Haha! Yeah, I never associated NV with indie rock before, got excited & fired off the most genetically similar albums to PFNO. Sorry, guys! Should have checked NVs charts first.

I still stand by Afghan Whig's Gentlemen though! 🤣

Try some Caustic resin albums, Treepeople, Sebadoh, Archers of loaf, and Superchunk

EDIT: Other bands that you'd like include Beat Happening, Pinback, The Wrens, Les Savy Fav, Wolf Parade, and 764 - HERO.
