But yeah, no, same boat, that's the nostalgia in my life. That and Rubber Soul, but Rubber Soul has aged with me - digimon just seems to have frozen itself as me, a happy little kid, dancing to "Kids in America" on my chair in a crowded theater until an usher yelled at me (true story)

Kids In America! WHOA, I had forgotten that one ๐Ÿ˜„

The movie mostly reminds me of my old house. I was an only child in the middle of nowhere at the time, so I would spend my time watching movies and playing with figurine/toy things. Maybe that independent/loner streak in me is why I relate to Willis, my avatar. ๐Ÿค” ๐Ÿ˜„

I was always more a Matt fan myself *shrug* That said Terriermon was maybe my favorite monster to come out of that whole series ...

Jesus I'm nerding out but damn am I nostalgic all of a sudden ... you didn't watch Monster Ranchers, too, did you?

Omigod I LOVED Matt too! AND TK!

I liked/related to what I remember to be Matt's relative seriousness and thoughtfulness compared to Tai. And the arc when he exiled himself during the first season.

Welcome to BEA! Damn you've made a pretty great first impression. Always happy to see new enthusiastic faces. Stick around awhile eh?

I'll vomit some specific recs at a later date. For now, you mentioned you're into electronic music? Time for some shameless self-advertising I guess

(Also I highly recommend you take a look at Electronica by joyofdivision)
