I was really hoping to take part in the hip hop tourney, but as luck would have it I suffered yet another concussion the day after returning home. So haven't been able to listen to music just yet. It's really scary that any, even minor, blow to my head is now resulting in full blown concussion symptoms for weeks. Especially since my two little kids want nothing more than to jump all over me, and I have a really, hard time resisting.
Enjoying the exchanges thus far especially by Hayden & Skinny. Hopefully I'll b able to jump in there soon.
Been dipping my toes into some laid back Jazz classics like Time Out and Mingus Ah Um. Any recs in that vein would be sweet. Also listening to some 50s rock n' roll in really small doses. My little girls r loving the Everly Brothers.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes, guys. I'm sorry for my lack of activity here, my life has been super busy - school life and getting a new puppy. Hopefully it will get a bit easier for me and I hope being 17 is going to be better than being 16. _________________

also i was randomly looking back at our excellent debut album tourney from last year and i saw all the funny puns at the end of each match. the dude who ran the tourney (and wrote the puns) deleted their account and i cant for the life of me remember who ran that BDAT. do yall remember? _________________ -Ryan
