Funny to hear this as syrupy and serene. This album is actually pretty tense and dark at times.

I think this is one of their better albums. Yes, it's more commercial than the previous two, but still quality. They really blew it for me on the follow-up to this one, and since then it has been a slow & gradual return to form.
