I'm overjoyed by what you've been listening to. And sometimes I totally agree and sometimes I'm disappointed by the little comments. You never were one to give many words to describe your love or disdain for things so that relatively big comment on the best PJ Harvey album was refreshing. Glad as of yet not too much "#hyped" or "#trill" comments yet. 😉
But yeah, Americana, country, folk, whatever the duck uou call that, its good to see you're taking in a lot of that.
If you haven't heard "Anodyne" by Uncle Tupelo, I recommend it. It's probably the most accessible album in their discog and it's right up there with March 16-20 for my favorite as well.
Edit: oh and didn't you already do a ULL? It's fine if this is your 2nd. I just remember recommending you a Todd Rundgren album at one point and I thought it was for your ULL. Maybe that was Goodsir or suede...?
Haha, for sure! I'll check that out, too! I really should write more about each album, but it's physically painful to type out large blocks of text. I have an unknown issue that stretches from my fingers to my shoulders and that puts a bit of a limitation on it all. This is my second ULL. Since Gowi restarted them, I decided that I would take another spot.

I do revisit albums from time to time, but I find it thrilling to be able to listen to new albums all the time. I do articulate my opinions with more words, etc. from time to time, but like I said above, it is physically difficult to do so. Writing is actually one of my favorite things to do, so not being able to type up a proper response to an album is rather disappointing. I'm pretty vocal about what I like over in the Skype calls though! Message me if you want to join (this goes for everybody).
^^^ Interesting. For me, Stranger's Almanac is the best album by Whiskeytown and easily one of the best things Ryan Adams has ever done. Surprised you guys don't like it as it's one of my all time faves.

Yee, since I graduated yesterday and have about a week until I start working, I'm taking this time to delve into more music. I'm used to this whole 30 new albums/week thing that I've been doing for the past year and a half, but now that'll be changing. I hope to keep the number from 10-20, though.
I don't really like this artist. I find La Dispute to be pseudo-intellectual and cringe-worthy, but this album is pretty good. Definitely their best work.
