Rating metrics:
Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. A high standard deviation can be legitimate, but can sometimes indicate 'gaming' is occurring. Consider a simplified example* of an item receiving ratings of 100, 50, & 0. The mean average rating would be 50. However, ratings of 55, 50 & 45 could also result in the same average. The second average might be more trusted because there is more consensus around a particular rating (a lower deviation).
(*In practice, some albums can have several thousand ratings)
This album is rated in the top 15% of all albums on BestEverAlbums.com. This album has a Bayesian average rating of 74.4/100, a mean average of 74.6/100, and a trimmed mean (excluding outliers) of 74.6/100. The standard deviation for this album is 14.1.

Good and very consistent in quality, but it can get a little boring at some points.
If any record is responsible for making punk rock more lyrically mature and melodically accessible, this is the game changer.
It's definitely the record I would recommend for anyone unfamiliar with Bad Religion.
Suffer, No Control and Against the Grain might not quite be the best hardcore punk records on their own, but they are definitely the best consecutive trio of records in punk and rock in general.
If I had to choose the best of the trio it would be Suffer because it's the best combination of sound (a very ditinctive bouncy yet almost atmospheric distortion) and consistency.
Great, CLASSIC punk rock record. Like most punk albums it has it's weak parts for music enthusiast that your regular punk rocker will love. To each their own. This is in my top 100 and will remain along with their subsequent records: No Control & Against the Grain.
One of their best albums this has You Are The Government, Give You Nothing, Suffer and Do What You Want some of their most well known songs. It was their 1st comeback after disappearing in the mid 80s and set the tone for the rest of their work.
Solid album. As someone who was huge into Bad Religion, I always preferred their later work.
