My buddy tagged me in a post a few years ago when we graduated, I still get extreme nostalgia every time I listen to it.

I don't know but I'm done with high school as of tomorrow and have been listening to a loooooooot of the first three Spiritualized albums lately. It's been pretty good.

Echoing Silver's sentiment. Some Spiritualized would be awesome at a graduation ceremony or something like that. If I were organising the soundtrack to graduation I would keep it nice and mellow and serene, sound wise I mean. I don't know if this would help, but here are a few suggestions:

Here by Pavement
Fade Into You by Mazzy Star
The Hand That Rocks The Cradle by The Smiths
Today by Ride
Lorelei by Cocteau Twins
Feeling Yourself Disintegrate by The Flaming Lips
Fjogur Piano by Sigur Ros
Hummingbird by Wilco
When The Sun Hits by Slowdive
To Here Knows When by My Bloody Valentine
Perfect Kiss by New Order
All My Friends by LCD Soundsystem
Anthems For A Seventeen Year-Old Girl by Broken Social Scene
Kids On Holiday by Animal Collective
and...
Don't Let Our Youth Go To Waste by Galaxie 500

That playlist sounds like a crackin' good party to me! I'll stop being narcissistic now...

it doesn't fit in with these others as well aesthetically and the lyrics don't directly allude to change, but "Bound 2," probably because it was the go-to sing(/rap)along banger of the last few weeks of my senior year, is wrapped up for me in the feeling of the intense hangover, recovery, acceptance of yourself , and an unsure hint to the future after the ups and downs of those four years

Noah And The Whale - Give It All Back

Some nice indie pop about being nostalgic of the great times you had with your friends

"Yeah I'd give it all back just to do it again
Turn back time, be with my friends
Tonight"
