Agree with most of you. This album starts fantastically but tails off badly. Is it track 5 that has that line " I've got soul but I'm not a soldier" I love that song.

when i can get over myself, i really do enjoy mr. brightside....still. also, indie rock n roll and everything will be alright are legit. andy, you're a star? yeah. the rest of the radio singles "smile like you mean it" "all these things that i've done" "somebody told me" are pretty dull, but in their heyday (i admittedly was a teenager), they had their place. as far as pop albums go - esp. in recent years - this really wasn't a bad record. BUT as an audiophile, it's shoddy as anything else out there on the radio. brick.

Never liked the Killers, gave this album a listen and probably don't like them even more; Mr. Brightside makes me cringe even more every single time
