If you're seeking lo-fi brilliance, look no further than Badly Drawn Boy's Hour Of Bewilderbeast. Fantastic and beautiful debut, though the production on his later albums (still great!) become a lot slicker so this is the only true lo-fi one of his (his earlier EP's have a similar feel though). Give it a try - hopefully you'll love it!

Um, well I certainly didn't expect anything like this when I first conceived writing this post. Such a diverse response, and I'm unbelievably thankful. Over 20 responses! Again some of these modern artist like La Sera, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and of course, Bon Iver I have listened to, but nonetheless amazing ! Now and before I posted this, I loved The Velvet Underground and Painful by Yo La Tengo still remains to be one of my favourite albums of all time. I'm going ensure to listen to every one of these albums as soon as possible, even if it gets the better of me. However, most of these suggestions are making me feel guilty for being born in the subsiding of the 90's, because the real shame is I'll never get to see these albums be outlived in their prime. On a less dejected note; thank you all incredibly once more and lets still keep the momentum going !
