Outliers can be removed when calculating a mean average to dampen the effects of ratings outside the normal distribution. This figure is provided as the trimmed mean. lyrically brilliant album which flows really well and stands head and shoulders above their c86 counterparts

Heard what I thought was the full original album, turned out it was a special edition with extra tracks so I found it rather repetitive. Will edit my rating when I get round to listening to the actual tracklist! Stuck between The Smiths and The Stone Roses.

I should really like this album, it's pretty much a mixture of Smiths (early) and Joy Division, with some originality to it. But I don't think I get along with it as much as I should. It gets tedious real early into listening. And it's repetitive. And his voice is like a tedious Ian Curtis/Morrissey crossover.
It's still enjoyable, but it's gonna take more than a couple of listens.
