So today I went to a bookstore that just happened to have a decent collection of used vinyls for sale. I ended up picking up...
Johnny Cash at Folsom Prison by Johnny Cash
Goodbye Yellow Brick Road by Elton John
and
Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band by The Beatles
Is there anyway I can tell what year this pressing is?
It's the same look as the one I posted above. I cannot see a date on the vinyl anywhere, so i looked up the code on the back which is SMAS-2653. The website I found has a picture of the same copy as me and says it was pressed on 6/2/67. Could this be an original pressing or am I just getting excited for nothing haha? ๐คก

Okay, so I did a little bit of research, and apparently there were only three serious pressings of this album on Vinyl. The original pressing, the 1995 re-release, and the 2012(?)-re-re-release. The 1995 edition has a "'Limited Edition' hype sticker on front" according to a listing on amazon.com.
As far as '67 pressings, you need to first determine if it's mono or stereo. A stereo OP will have a yellow band on top with the word "Stereo" written across it. Mono will just be the original album art. The '95 version has white lines across the top and bottom according to a listing on ebay.com.
Anyone want to add to/debunk my claims? _________________

But yes according to Discogs your pressing is an original 67 pressing. It's relatively common though, as Sgt Pepper was an extremely popular album that sold a lot of copies.

This past week Cellar visited me in Texas! One of the days he was here, we went record store touring to Friends of Sound, End of an Ear, and Waterloo and I got:
