oh, sure, we can spend pages and pages discussing a record of a 13 year old's political assertions, but we can't get more than one post about one of the greatest avant-folk records ever made. disgusting.

One of those artists that I could never, ever get into, for some reason that's beyond me. A real shame, as he's an artist I've actually tried with significantly. I think Keith once said something about Public Enemy along the lines of "I don't particularly like their music, but I respect the opinion of people who do", and Tim Buckley absolutely comes into that category for me. His music is something I should like, but just can't. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.

Just listened to this for the first time and wow this is weird af but charming too. Still think his son was better but Tim did both conventional-ish folk and avant-garde fairly well.
