I found out this morning during a break between classes at school so I sat down, listened to Ziggy Stardust, and tried not to cry.
I'm so sad I never got to see him live. Definitely the best solo artist of all time. I haven't had the time to listen to Blackstar yet, but I'm definitely gonna find time now. I can imagine that album is gonna appear on a lot more charts in the coming days. _________________ These are my favorite albums right now.

Hate to be late to this but better late than never. David Bowie was becoming one of my very favorite musicians. I only have three of his albums but in the past 2 or 3 months alone I've been digging deep into his catalog and have found some truly incredible gems. He is deservedly so one of the all time greats and nobody could do just what he did like he did it. Obviously there has been some hyperbole floating around and it sounds like idol worship, but not a thing that has been about him is false. A lot of people have ben saying he was ahead of the curve, but as far as what I have seen, he was the curve.
