Daniel Craig - Logan Lucky (Who knew bond could pull off a comedy?)
Jai Courtney - Suicid Squad (Who knew that the most bland actor in the world could actually be funny? The movie wasn't great but he was actually charismatic to me.)
Vince Vaughn - Hacksaw Ridge
Justin Timberlake - The Social Network (Not really an actor, but still very surprising)

And another that comes to mind is Ryan Gosling in Drive.
