Oh and as for the Rod Stewart rumour. I always heard it was Marc Almond.

When I was at school, it was fact and it was Marc almond.

Just the fact that it was first said about Rod Stewart, and then a decade later was said about Marc almond pretty much tells you it's a rumor. Just the person changed over time but the story stays the same, I've heard the same story told about different Hollywood actor s. The person involved just changes to reflect the time it was said in..

The Paul is Dead rumor may be ridiculous and I don't give credit to it, but it's nonetheless quite a fascinating one.

Below the famous (authentic) photo with supposedly 3 pauls..

This is fascinating I don't quite get it though. Were they said to be three replacement Paul's? 3 decoys?

Janis Joplin had a second vagina that could independently operate a fob watch. (The rumours have been pretty lame so far. Time to make shit up # irony)

I first heard the Rod Stewart urban myth circa 1979. I also heard it applied to Elton John and Mick Jagger around the same time.

I think the main theory is that Paul was replaced by a double. But I just like the fact that this photo is authentic (it was published in the "Beatles Monthly", Issue #61 from August of 1968). The fact one can spot three people ressembling Paul on it is probably one of those strange and funny coincidences/ironies of fate/glitches in the matrix ๐Ÿ˜„

A serious article about the context of this photo:

I read a vicious rumour in a music mag in the 90s. Its practically a slur:

It was rumoured that Bono once gave a blow job to a bouncer at a venue U2 were due to play in, early in their career, in Ireland. The bouncer denied Bono access to the venue unless he performed fellatio. A bit desperate Bono agreed.

That a singer would service a bouncer just to get into a venue when the band had already secured the gig does not pass the smell test.
