We have very similar tastes, you name many of my favorite musicians in your post (Can, Funkadelic, Bjork, Slint, Pere Ubu, Beefheart, Janaelle Monae),so here are some recomendations of stuff I like that you might also.

Thanks! Was just reading about FKA Twigs last night. Haven't listened to that particular Electric Masada album, but have heard them and other Zorn projects.
