What is your personal favorite from the 7 classic albums by The Moody Blues from 1967 - 1972?
I'm curious to see how this plays out because every one of these albums are masterpieces if you ask me.
I tried searching the forums to see if this question had already been asked but couldn't find anything, I apologize for the repeat if it already has.
I love this topic. But I can't vote yet because I'm going to have to think about it. I love the Moody Blues too, and I know already that it will come down to a choice between two or three of them. I have to think about it more though.

This is a really tough topic as the core 7 are all positively stellar albums through and through. Nowhere, ever in the history of popular music, has any group strung together so marvelous a string as this. If I could spread out 700 votes across the seven While I might have my favorites, the total distance between #1 and #7 is minuscule. albums, #1 would have 101 votes and #7 would have 99 votes with the rest tied at 100.

2. To Our Children's Children's Children
3. On the Threshold of a Dream
4. In Search of the Lost Chord
5. Every Good Boy Deserves Favour
6. A Question of Balance
7. Seventh Sojourn
As an tangent to the topic, I would add that Long Distance Voyager is also a magnificent album and an equally worthy part of the Moodies' legacy.

I love all of these albums, but Days of Future Passed is one of my favorite albums ever. It's the album that introduced me to The Moody Blues and it's remained one of my favorites.
I have this memory from high school, we had this sound system set up in our band room with big speakers and everything, and when I was a senior, I was taking a billion music classes, with some of them being basically joke classes. I spent a lot of it writing music, but I spent a lot of it listening to music too, and I remember one day putting Days of Future Passed on on the band room sound system, and I was blown away by it. I remember just being in there and hearing that final cymbal crash at the end of Nights in White Satin, and I was just floored.
It still blows me away to this day. _________________ Progressive Rock

Days of Future Passed is excellent but I voted for Every Good Boy Deserves Favour. That's my favourite one. But it was tough deciding between those two.
They are all sublime albums though.
