Good call. That certainly is the superior version of that tune.

It's fun to compare all the different versions of the songs these bands did.

However all those previously listed couldnโ€™t hold a candle to The Skatalites, especially if consistency of output is one of the mitigating factors. They really deserve far more love than they get round these parts...


Totally forgot about Link Wray. Or the Del-Tones.

Didn't know Skatalites did instrumental work as well. Cool.
