I'm always on for a dare, but I copied this into youtube, and all I got was some K Pop videos. Show me where the album is, and I'll listen to it for fun.
BTW, get it on it y'all, I'm on vacation, and I want something to listen to off of my list!

Ok here you go.

I think I prefer this over the Blink 182 album. But overall my thoughts is that it's a good pop punk album but not something I wouldn't come back to that often. Even when I did have my fare share of enjoyment. Grade:70

Chief listen to Brighter Death Now.

Also there is still a few days for the next year but if there isn't a miracle, 1995 will be the winner. For anyone wanting a different year.

Another album that I liked a lot more than I expected. They pull off the grunge / metal combo well, and the bleak songwriting is solid to great. The vocals are a bit hit and miss, but don't drag it down too much. 3.5/5.

3. Here’s my top 10 unlistened from the overall chart:
16. London Calling - The Clash
17. In The Aeroplane Over The Sea - Neutral Milk Hotel (half listened)
20. The Queen Is Dead - The Smiths (possibly listened and forgotten)
24. Is This It - The Strokes
34. Unknown Pleasures - Joy Division
35. Blood On The Tracks - Bob Dylan
37. The Joshua Tree - U2
39. Remain In Light - Talking Heads
40. The Suburbs - Arcade Fire
43. (What’s The Story) Morning Glory - Oasis
Brighter Death Now- Necrose Evangelicum (I'll add it to the DB at a later date)
Brighter Death Now is a pseudonym for Roger Karmanik, who is the founder of one of the greatest named music labels ever, Cold Meat Industry. Anyways, this album is more about creating an atmosphere than creating actually enthralling music, and it succeeds on that front. It's not classified as such, but I feel like "dungeon-synth" would be an appropriate genre label for this. "Dungeon-Ambient" maybe. The various chanting vocals on some tracks add to the atmosphere greatly. (Oh no, did I just create another genre?)
Rain, Red Rain is the highlight for me.
This RYM list is as good as any that include this album.
Alright Jameth, let's have you listen to one of my favorites, Remain In Light.
"Blue" Gene Tyranny- Out of The Blue
Hanne Hukkelberg- Rykestrasse 68
Stara Rzeka - Cień chmury nad ukrytym polem
Enno Velthuys - Vreemde Landen, Vol. 1
Deep Puddle Dynamics - The Taste of Rain... Why Kneel?
The Conet Project (This is almost 5 hours long, so keep that in mind)
Killing Joke- Hosannas from The Basements of Hell
Koenjihyakkei - Viva Koenji!!
Clock DVA- Man Amplified
Beyond - Comparison
I listened to Remain In Light today, but I was at the airport and it wasn’t the best listening experience. I can say for sure that “Houses In Motion” is spectacular, but I want to replay the album tonight before I report back.
Out of all the OST's I have listened to from this game so far, this is probably my personal favorite. I am curious how the movie plays out but from the sounds I could tell where not only where this takes place but also the time period. If anyone wants to listen to this soundtrack, go to the Vimeo video, it sounds the best of the bunch. So yeah, for the most part I adore this album and can see this growing in the canon.
Grade:90 but could be a 95

This is such a mind-blowing, action-packed album, and it might have made a lot less sense to me if I hadn’t recently ran through Bowie’s catalog. This album to me was Lodger, better realized. And that’s saying something, because I thought Lodger was a pretty swell album. I shamefully don’t know much about Brian Eno, other than he seemed to have a hand in everything in those days, but this album was the final push I needed to start investigating his catalog. I’m curious whether his Oblique Strategies cards were used like they were with Bowie, and to what extent.
The first side of the album batters you with instrumentation and textures, and it’ll probably take a number of listens to sort them all out. But, like I tend to do, I focused on the guitar and bass, which alone was a handful. The bassist is an incredible shapeshifter, moving from one tone or style or rhythm to the next, and left me guessing. The guitarist seems more interested in drawing these freaky little textures across bars than they are in the progression. There was a lot of technique here that I wouldn’t mind studying closer.
The three softer tracks that close the album were my least favorite, but there tends to be some nuance to softer music that needs to be reheard in order to be appreciated. So, I won’t hastily write them off.
