Ah yes, another one of those... um, painfully early 00s tracks. I think I.. quite liked it as a kid, back in 6th grade or so the cool kids listened to 50 Cent, and then some of us listened to Bring me back to life, and shit like this. Never listened to it after that, it's in the same shelf as Linkin Park, euro-metal, and some watered down post grunge.
Got to go Streets on this one. Actually the first time I've heard the Evanescence track so I guess it wasn't a big hit in the UK. Sounded quite nice but the tune didn't really hit me.
So... you voted Evanescence and I voted Evanescence and yet Evanescence has only one vote. Curious.
Yeah I was on mobile, but I think I didnโt hit abstain? Or I did? Hope it wonโt matter in the end ๐ _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart

this blows my mind. i felt like i couldn't get away from it when it came out. it was literally everywhere. planes, trains, automobiles, shopping malls and every radio station. i'm pretty sure that even the oldies stations were playing it. i'd duck into dumpsters in dark alleys, and this tune would find me. i'd rewatch lord of the rings, and the song would infultrate lothlorien. i'm pretty sure this was the theme song in every movie that came out that summer. i had to physically claw my ears off my body to get this tune to stop haunting me, and i thought it worked until low-and-behold, this bloody tournament revived it's immortal soul. bloody hell.
don't let evanescence win. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.
