I just bought an original Xbox. I haven't had one in 13 years probably. I'm going to rebuild my old games library, but I can't go out and get anything, because the vintage game stores are all closed. 😢

I also don't have a Switch. I had planned to get one when the new pokemon was released, but they completely screwed it up (in my eyes) so I ended up not buying one.

Ahh. We could have a group of people from this site to get rare fish and stuff. Though I do understand the Pokemon thing even though I'm not the craziest fan of Pokemon to begin with. Though I do want to get the remake of Mystery Dungeon on Switch.

Whenever new information was released for that new Pokemon game it just got worse and worse. I can't believe there's going to be paid DLC in a pokemon game that used to cost $40 for a complete and finished game. I think they just rushed it onto a console, and, it being the first time a main series game came to a console, they might have underestimated what it actually took to make it polished.

With DLC, for the most part Nintendo has been quite good with it. Pokemon was suspected for it since other games that have a lot of quality like Zelda Breath Of The Wild and Smash Bros Ultimate also have it. I also think that while certain things within Sword and Shield should have been ironed out, it unfortunately comes to business and moving from portables to hybrid consoles. Though I will say that thankfully we are at a time where they can update it to iron out some of it.

Hot take: 80s pop/new-wave/synthpop schtick is overrated as a whole since... the 80s. Maybe I'm in the wrong thread... 😨

Animal Crossing isn't overrated though

It is a bit overated. That's why I'd argue acts like Dam Funk, Com Truise and other acts brought those styles of the 80's and gave it modern production.

Also Animal Crossing isn't overrated. I agree.

Nah, it's underrated as a whole. A lot of people don't take it seriously enough musically.

That is true, I am guilty of that too. But my reason is legit: I don't like a lot of it, especially the more popular stuff. Not to say that I disrespect or hate the whole genre, but I swear if I hear Take On Me just one more time... 😁

Except this classic version.

If we could make song charts in a non-convoluted way, Take On Me would be high up in my overall. It's about as perfect as music can be. But different strokes for different folks I guess.

P.S. That is a great parody though
