There's either something really wrong with me if I'm starting out my morning with depressive black metal, and I still feel positive to a possibly unhealthy level. I don't typically start my mornings with metal, but black metal is very different. I've found that any atmospheric genre can be use for maintaining serenity no matter how extreme (or in black metal's case, evil). I even listened to a Gris album before I went to bed last night. That's my life in a nutshell, maybe not an unhealthy amount of positivity but I'm generally a positive person, which wouldn't be apparent at all from my album and movie choices. Id anyone knows any scary albums I should check out, I'm working on a chart of scary albums, called "A Mood for Nightmares." I've got ten so far, and I'm trying to avoid anything that's simply harsh or violent and focus more on the scary presence of an album.

I gotta get to those sometime. I hardly remember Geodaddi, but I don't remember thinking it was scary. That's something I'd remember.
I'm thinking about giving my power metal chart a spin-off: German power metal. But I don't think that's quite ready. I've explored power metal from all over the world but I haven't took the time to stay in one specific country for long. So today's going to be all about Rage's discography. I don't think I'll ever listen to the entire catalogue, but I guess I can try.
