Yeah, the Garbage debut is pretty decent- due in part to Butch Vig’s hand in the production, but mostly because of Shirley Manson’s vocals. I haven’t assessed a final score yet, but definitely liked it more than the Elastica album from ‘95 (which seems comparable in some measure). There’s also a vibe that evokes some of the best work by Curve, and perhaps even the cynical side of Blondie. _________________ Now Playing: the albums of 2005
