Very much so, and I always like that even if – or paradoxically especially if – the taste is very different form my own. It is perhaps, too, the more unexpected because the first few choices are so canonical, yet it goes into many unexpected detours. From Charlie Parker to Leadbelly to The Olivia Tremor Control to Nat “King” Cole to Benny Goodman to Spirit They’re Gone, Spirit They’ve Vanished to Alcest, I have never seen a chart that is so different from what one would expect from the top few albums.

It is also great to see such an underappreciated masterpiece as Philosophy of the World here too.

There are a few – all at the end – which I have never heard of too.
