Gosh, this really is the best New Order album, isn't it? I mean, basically anything through Technique is great and a perfectly understandable favorite--hell, I used to claim Movement as my New Order of choice. But Power, Corruption & Lies really crystalizes everything great about their sound, their songwriting, and the adventurousness of New Order. Anyway, great record from arguably the best and most important new wave band of the '80s.

Track picks
1. Age Of Consent
4. 5 8 6
5. Your Silent Face
8. Leave Me Alone
