This is the 2nd Josh Kaufman album out in less than a month. Another killer record. Fruit Bats' 20th Anniversary album and it's a beauty. For my fellow Bonny Light Horseman fans out there, this is a winner.
New Valerie June and Bruno Pernadas coming on Friday! Woohoo!!!
This is based off AOTY site, really no other data about those albums. But really looking forward to both (especially Brunoโs latest). _________________ -Ryan
I'm surprised not many people are talking about this album. This is a very great blend of neo-soul, funk, hip-hop, and post punk. This is one of my favorite albums of the year so far and I am pumped to get know more of this guy.
The new Arab Strap album is actually genius. My favourite album of its kind since Perils from the Sea. Can only hope Adrian Moffat isn't outchea doing Louis C.K. cosplay. He really is one of his generation's best lyricists, and the Strap have been sorely missed. This is the sort of sordid, navel-gazing, peculiarly Scottish existential dread I can get behind. The only language I understand these days tbh, besides absurdist Michigan gun puns. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Come drop me some recs. Y'all know what I like.
Posthumous Tony Allen album announcedโ sporting a interestingly eclectic line-up featuring The Koreatown Oddity, Lava La Rue, Danny Brown, Ben Okri, Sampa The Great and Skepta. Out next month on the anniversary of his death. _________________ Doubles & Conch

The new ones from Digga D and Central Cee are easily the two best full-length forays into UK drill I've come across yet. It's taken me like 5 years to get my head around drill's repetitive nihilism, but I would recommend both those releases highly. Both great. _________________ 2021 in full effect. Killah Priest has been on a role recently and just dropped his third album in less than a year. First listen didn't click as hard as Rocket To Nebula did but there's of course a lot to unpack here. Killah Priest once again rapping philosophically over some avant-garde production. As usual with Killah Priest the topics are very abstract and spiritual, delving into various historical, science fiction, and celestial concepts and tying it all together with existentialism.
