I find with a lot of the early Bon Scott records AC/DC had a hard time capturing their live sound on a studio album. Powerage and Highway to Hell do a better job of it than this record for me although this probably their most energetic record. I find basically every song that appears on the If You Want Blood live album ends up being a better version than what is on this record.
