I totally dig the Derek Hess cover artwork for 'Ass Pocket'; and the album itself is great fun with Jon Spencer's (Blues Explosion) collaboration to beef up R.L.'s sound, but I'm always gonna go with "Too Bad Jim" as my favorite Burnside album. 😎

Too bad jim is a good shout. All three are worthy contenders for best burnside album. I caught his grandson, Cedric, at a festival last year and he was really good.
Nooooo. Just woke up to the news. What a terrible loss. The phrase is rather overused but in this case it’s true, we have lost one of the truly great guitarists.
