Andre 3000's debut album this Friday.
So, uh, a Jazz flute album?
This discourse around whatever this is will probably be entertaining to say the least.
But at least he's being forthcoming with their being "no bars" on the album.
Crazy midwest emo song titles as well.

Wasn't that impressed with the new PinkPantheress, unfortunately. It's nice, but the mixtape is easily better. She has stripped a lot of those cool dnb, bass and similar club sounds.
Overmono's Boiler room set is the best thing you'll hear this year, might genuinely be the best Boiler room set ever.
Quaranta is great, almost a polar opposite of uknowhatimsayin¿, but just as good.
New Aesop Rock needs another listen, but the first listen says it's some of the best rap of the year. _________________Overall chart

Tori Amos (prod Trevor Horn) covering Kendrick. Don't know if I've ever heard him covered before.
Will share some recent 2023 opinions soon. Can't believe we're in the final month.

Somehow just discovering the Grien Chattan album. Great solo debut. Gotta play it again for sure.

the stuff that stuck with me the most
Nick Ashwood - inside the body of a wave (synthesizer and reed organ)
mattie barbier - This Is What People Think Mountains Look Like (trombone)
Madison Greenstone - Resonance Studies in Ecstatic Consciousness (clarinets)
John McCowen - Dealing With: Models of Duration (contrabass clarinet)
Michiko Ogawa & Lucy Railton - fragments of reincarnation (sho, hammond organ, cello)
Jessica Pavone - Clamor (string sextet and bassoon)
Ángeles Rojas - breathe into the forest, into the bird, into the song (saxophones, cello, guitar, tuning forks, shruti box)
Dafne Vicente-Sandoval - Minos Circuit (bassoon, electronics)
and then I couldn't pick just one of the four records including Sergio Merce (Topializ , Traslasierra (expanded landscape) , Prayer to Humanity , Amplified Resonances (saxophones, ewi, electronics)) or certain performances of Éliane Radigue (Naldjorlak (cello), Delta XV (string quartet), Hepta I/Occam XX (ensemble/analog synthesizer))
