Interesting that two of the top ten (Disintegration and Long Season) are the same as on Paste Magazine’s list from earlier this year. In fact, 37 albums of this list are in Paste’s full 300, and 21 in Paste’s actual top 100 — an exceptionally large proportion.

It is true that this chart is is not a carbon copy of Paste’s in any way, if only because it contains many progressive rock albums. Paste’s list is even more devoid of progressive rock than those from other mainstream music magazines.
