Huh, very interesting, didn't actually realise that at all but it does make a lot of sense, sitting here with eyes closed now and can totally hear it though!
Another very well known one to us all, probably first came across my attention via the sitcom, Father Ted, it is catchy, may have heard it a bit much at this point but I do enjoy it now and again.

Thank you, definitely one of my madder ideas but I'm enjoying, will be interesting to see how I feel once I start hitting the 90's and 00's, definitely seems to be a lot of well known heavy pop hitters in this one so far which won't be the case later!
I do remember this but can't say from where (and it seems Limahl is their lead singer which was news to me also), I do think this is decent, probably on the lower end of the scale but definitely slap bang in the middle of the 80's aesthetic thus far.
9th place is probably harsh so far, but there's a high bar to be set.

Another one I like quite a bit and have phases were I get obsessed with now and again, definitely deserves a spot in the higher places somewhere.
I enjoy a fair bit of Mike Oldfield's stuff and jump into it now and again, notably in this case, his album Crises, which is in the top half of my '83 chart.
Just about on par with Double Dutch, so into 4th at this time.
