i'm mixed on it. given the time it was released, it's kind of respectable. in the age of adobe photoshop, i'd rate it differently. not my style either way as it is rather ugly, but the technique required to pull that off in 1990 makes it rather interesting.
i feel like there's a difference between "i don't like this" and "this is pretty terrible". i could lump nirvana's nevermind, the rolling stones' sticky fingers, radiohead's the bends, etc. into that first category, but none of them strike me as inherently bad so much as just not my thing. compare the average indie/bandcamp release to those covers, and the difference is pretty stark. the indie landscape is littered with crappy album covers. _________________ follow me on the bandcamp.

Just want to interject on the Beatles cover. There is a stark difference between terrible and offensive. What some might find offensive others will not and offensive doesn’t automatically equate to terrible or bad

Agreed LTS. There are so many things wrong with this album cover that it’s hard to know where to start.
