Only got round to getting this 90's classic in 2016 - I liked their singles at the time. Kinky Afro, Loose Fit and Holiday are all great tracks, but the highlight is the China Girl inspired "Step On" - yes that is right, listen to the bass in the verse and it matches up tightly to Pop/Bowie China Girl

I'm on the other side of the fence as Chrisey22. I think the second half of the album outshines the first half by a wide margin. The final three songs were the best ones on the album, and the very ending in whole was pretty classic as well. Right when I thought I had a handle on the album, it --

The best mondays album for me and the first side has it from the first bars of Kinky Afro it just flows with a nice dance can't stop taping my feet rhythm all the way to the end of Loose Fit. Step on is good all so but i don't feel the second side is as good as the first but what a side .

Very consistent yet sleazy album. There's no real highlights or tracks that stand out from the pack except for the signature track "Kinky Afro". But you can't really criticise this album as it's so incredibly charming and infectious.
