Not the sole reason I'm voting for them, but Kneecap (the s/t film) is a blast. One of my favourites of the year, and an excellent (albeit surely exaggerated) origin story. There's always been languages that suit hip-hop— English, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, etc— but the left-hook of Irish is just such a chicken and waffles situation. They tread very close to the line of it being a gimmick, but never quite cross it. (Not to mention there's a lot of English, but yeah). Glad they made it.
As Kneecap would say, 'that Zach Bryan song isn't even Irish'.

Pink Skies is yet another flawless track from Zach Bryan in my opinion but I'm also pretty much as a big of a fan as you can get. Love everything about it, just gorgeous. _________________ Griselda, by Fashion Rebels 2020's Hip-Hop 2020's Country
I like Zach Bryan and this is a lovely track, but as Hayden said, there's just something about good Irish rapping. Never heard of Kneecap before, but they get my vote. _________________ Overall chart Fake overall chart
As usual, I'm completely behind the times and have only just been introduced to Kneecap, which I guess have a whole multimedia thang going on. Will check out more. Zach Bryan remains one of the most consistient country songwriters out there even if I don't quite get the prophetic hype.
