It's quite catchy, these two met whilst backing for Wham! and you can see that in their music alright, I'd never come across this previously, but it's a decent entry.

A bit more ballady than I'd normally like when it comes to Bananarama, this is there 3rd entry in the series and definitely the one I like the least, it's still good, but just non the same level as their previous songs.
This was the fourth and final single off their 3rd, not coming as a single until over a year after the albums release, Venus big the much bigger earlier single.
This did alright chart wise but wasn't a massive top 10 hit, solid but not at the level of their previous stuff, 113.

Don't know what to do with this one, obviously a very good tune, but ultimately, it was released originally in 1961 and made it's way back into the charts on the back of the movie of the same name.
It's very good, relaxing and soulful, I think most people know it at this stage, very very famous, with hundreds of millions of views on this video alone, so it doesn't need any real introduction.
I've gone for 60th, it's probably good enough to warrant a spot in the top 50, but given the age it's hard to compare in reality. A very good song that still holds up.

This one's alright, starts ok but loses me a bit ultimately, synth/sophisti-pop they call it, was beginning to wind down at bit at this stage of the 80's, solid but another one I'll probably forget in the long term.
Curiosity Killed the Cat were an English group who released 3 albums between 87 and 94, this was their second single off their debut and was generally deemed a success, the album hitting number 1 in the UK and the single number 3 for 3 weeks also.
They've had a few reunions, but this is appears to be one of the high points from back in the day, going with 184.

Another bizarre, classified as Italo disco (despite Taffy being from London), this became a brief one hit wonder in the late 80's, reaching number 6 in both Ireland and the UK, before fading away thereafter (much like the artists career evidently).
Not bad, but nothing spectacular at the same time, and something I've one hundred never heard before, definitely one of the most unusual choices yet.
