Thanks for pointing out, added in a bit of a hurry. Didn't think there were enough reactions to choose from before, but wanted to keep the number small (thumbs up and heart are still by far the most used). Happy to get rid of redundancy and make as lean as possible but imo 😨 conveys something that 🙁 doesn't (e.g. a cringe artist). Agree that 😄 could probably be gotten rid of, but again has a different purpose to 🤣. I think best to monitor usage and see what ends up being used. Anything unpopular can be culled/replaced (currently eight reactions to choose from which is probably the upper limit).

I just want a reaction to use for music that looks cool and I’m interested in hearing without giving approval as if I already like it. Could be❗️, 😮, 👀, or something else. Fair point on the cringe use case for 😨. Agree that a 😄 isn’t exactly the same as any of those other 4 I mentioned, but can’t think of a use case that couldn’t be covered by one of those 4.

Happy to change the list, but need to cull one of the existing options to make room for a new one. The 🙁 reaction is the only one that hasn't been used yet (possibly thumbs down conveys much the same thing), so have swapped it for one of your suggestions (😮). (😨 and 🤣 have only been used once each, but can see more of a future for those).

It is a little bit annoying that when I select the tracks of an album by rating my own ratings disappear. What is the (new) deal here? That I must erase my own rating before i can alter it? Irritating especially for an old woman like myself with a memory on par with my guppy. Also: may I ask: now that chatgpt5,1 has made it easy peasy even for kindergarten-toddlers to make apps and websites and store them in skies; is that to the benefit for our dear Albummaster and his beloved site? Thank You

Thanks for feedback, checking into the issue with ratings and apologies if they are not behaving correctly. Things needed to change, otherwise this site would permanently remain in its own time dimension. I dearly wish AI tools could do the daily grind of running the site and take me out of it (maybe one day).
