i'm doing myself (like each year) a Christmas playlist and i'm gonna include actually a lot of classics. remember the GOLDEN RULE : people enjoy the music they know !

Usually i include: Rock classics (Bratles, Dylan...etc) + Pop hits Classics (Aretha Franklin, Elvis, MJ...) + Modern Rock (Strokes, Nirvana, Radiohead...) + Lounge/downtempo Music (Air, Bonobo, Dj Cam...etc) + Jazz (Miles Davis, John Coltrane...) + World Music (Khaled, Sigur Ros, Cesรกria ร‰vora...).

if it's a party you have to include : Dance Classics (Abba, Kool & The gang, Donna Summer...) + modern pop hits (Beyonce, Janet Jackson, AAliyah, Akon, BEP) + current Top 40 hits + House/Dance (David Guetta, Jlo, Far East Movement...)

+ people from Netherlands seem to like a lot Trance Music, so you have to include then some Armin van Buuren & co.

But not club music, right? ๐Ÿ˜•

Bob Marley, Hot Chip, M.I.A. Titus Andronicus, Talking Heads, Michael Jackson, Beatles & LCD Soundsystem...

Just off the top of my head. If you want individual songs, just say so, and I'll post that.

Does this party have LSD? ๐Ÿ˜จ Cause that'd be a completely different list.

After you all got drunk do you go to the Albert Cuyp and sing by the statue (you know who's I mean) and finish of with a Kwekkeboom at Febo's in the van Woustraat?

Lived for years in De Pijp hence the suggestions
