"I have to go against the crowd and state that I find this album much more enjoyable to listen to than Origin of Symmetry and Absolution. I found Origin of Symmetry somewhat flat and I found Absolution too grandiose and rather one-dimensional. By the end of Absolution every song sounded like one big blurry crescendo to me. In Black Holes and Revelations, Muse lets their feak flag fly. Every song is unique and the album is ever changing direction. Sure Muse "borrows" unapologetically from other artists but that just adds to the fun of this creation."
