An album that grew on me a bit.
Still wouldn't call it a favourite though.

I've always hated Coldplay from the first time I heard that horrible song Yellow on the radio. No real reason for it, I just can't stand Chris Martin and I can't stand their music. I actually didn't realize how respected they were until I came to this site. Probably cause it's a British heavy site.

And it doesn't really matter anyway.....Radiohead & The Beatles are also some of the most popular bands in the world.

sorry, in no means am i saying that coldplay is as bad as nickleback.
radiohead isnt anywhere near as popular as the beatles, or even nicklebakc or coldplay.

Mhm...Maybe they're a few places down on the popularity chart from those bands...
The hate for Coldplay on this site still confuses me, considering we have 3 of their albums in the top 150. And they really aren't that bad. A Rush Of Blood To The Head isn't their magnum imo either  Weird how some bands have this sort of critique controversy behind them.

Yeah clearly they aren't NEARLY as bad as the bowel movement known as Nickelback (I'm sure they don't make you proud to be a Canadian Hayden). But still, I've just always hated Coldplay. They're just a bit too soft for me I think. And like I said, their albums being so high on the overall chart shocks me.

Coldplay have recently fallen into the abyss of pop idiocy. I think the band became a hopeless case after this album.
