You know, I'd like to Keep It Like A Secret, but There's Nothing Wrong With Love. So I go that route.

Plastic Lunchtime Flow - fantastic band. I love some of the albums they go on to release. Mind you, it's pretty hard getting some of their albums right now.

Some bands that could use more attention (as a few barely have any):
The Log.OS - As described in this blog http://potholesinmyblog.com/the-log-os-...%82-album/ the album is a hypnotic electronic blend of soul, R&B, hip-hop, and jazz and it is absolutely beautiful. It only came out in 2011 but it is absolutely fantastic and is definitely one of my most favorite albums. Not only that, but it's free! There is a download link in that blog so definitely check it out.
Snowman - Very dark and raw, my personal favorite album of theirs is The Horse, The Rat, and The Swan which has lot of fierce atmospheric guitars with tribal rhythms. Their self titled debut is great too if you're looking for something more forward and catchy with a surf-rock vibe which is also somewhat present on the other album as well.
clipping - As I mentioned in the Hip Hop thread, they just released their album midcity in February and it is great. If you like the idea of hip hop mixed with noise music then this shouldn't disappoint. And once again, it's free, so check it out. http://clppng.bandcamp.com/album/midcity
Cerce - Great female-lead hardcore punk. Not much else to say, but as with clipping and The Log.OS, the album is free so you might as well check it out. http://cerce.bandcamp.com/album/cerce
Coaltar of the Deepers - I've only ever heard their album No Thank You, but it is brilliant. This is a Japanese rock band that has a very diverse sound within this album mixing shoegaze, metal, a few catchy and upbeat songs and some atmospheric ones.
Soap&Skin - Perhaps the most known of all these bands, but still not well enough. Her album Narrow from 2012 is hauntingly beautiful and deeply emotional. It's got some great ballads and a couple more in your face ambitious tracks.
Well that's all. I hope someone likes something I've mentioned.

My 2012 chart.
There are heaps of weird indie Australian albums on it that I had to add to the database, that are really good.
Ash Grunwald as well, his album Fish Out Of Water was no.2 on my chart for 5 months.
