their masterpieces

1. OK Computer
2. Kid A
3. The Bends
4. In Rainbows

their near-masterpieces

5. Amnesiac - recorded at the same time as Kid A, it just lacks an "album cohesion"
6. Hail to the Thief - rocks pretty well, but some ideas feel unfinished

the rest

7. The King of Limbs - feels like a transition album to me, but considering AMOK, maybe this IS the new direction?
8. Pablo Honey - after "creep", just a couple songs are worth listening to

Keep in mind that after The Eraser came In Rainbows. Perhaps AMOK portends something similar for Radiohead's next release.

It took awhile for this to become something that I really love. But once I "got" it i became obsessed. It's definitely a more accessible album than anything since OKC. I just love the variety. "Nude" is unbelievably gorgeous and "Reckoner" is one of the best songs I've ever heard. It's a 9.2/10 for me. OKC is a 9.6/10 and Kid A is a 9.7/10, IMO.

honestly, I think if Radiohead were done giving us music of this caliber, that would be OK. They've done more than enough. It's not like good music is going to stop.

Crap, is this why I haven't fallen in love with a new band since this time? ahaha

Radiohead's most overrated album. Nowhere near their best, and nowhere near top 20 albums of all time.

Listened to it several times and went to a concert on the In Rainbows tour...none of the music on this album interested me in the least. It confirmed that Radiohead's gone in a direction I simply don't like since OK Computer (which, mostly, I like, but it was the start of something I didn't care for).

This site has too many members who can't get their heads out of the 70s, but this album is great. Kid A is my favorite album ever, this album is a perfect example of the golden ratio and how to use it as the album meets a good climax at Reckoner and all of the songs are so harmonic and give me instant chills and this will always be the soundtrack of my teenage years because I used to listen to it every day I got home. 15 Step has the wildest 5/4 beat with the children going 'yaaay' and Bodysnatchers is so rough and edge-filled I feel like I'm listening to the end of OK Computer. Nude is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. Tracks 4 through 6 all flow so neatly and sound angelic and I feel like Thom Yorke is literally telling me statements to me that are personal that he means and wants me to know. Reckoner is a perfect example of Thom's appeal to the senses, it gives me goose bumps. House of Cards is a good break up song and supplies good lyricism which reminded me of The Bends. Jigsaw Falling Into Place puts me in such a mood like no other song, it gets me overwhelmed with this feeling of anxiety almost, almost like OKC does, and Videotape, the perfect closer is nothing short of a piano ballet. 10/10 Amazing. Best album of the 2000s right above Funeral, just my opinion but this album is important to me.
